Owner’s Note
We built this Suncadia home in 2016 with passion and pride, and it’s been a cherished family retreat — and a successful short-term rental — ever since. As our kids have grown and our lifestyle has evolved, it feels like the right time to pass this beautiful home along to its next owner. We hope to find someone who will appreciate its high-quality craftsmanship, rustic mountain character, and modern comforts as much as we have.
What truly sets this property apart is the extensive vertical-grain fir millwork, cut in Oso, Washington, from a 6-foot diameter Doug Fir log salvaged from the North Cascades. Old-growth timber of this size and quality is nearly impossible to source today, giving the home a warmth and authenticity that endures.
The home also has a proven rental history — nearly 500 five-star reviews and over $1 million in short-term lodging revenue since 2017. Beyond the numbers, it’s been a place of memories, laughter, and connection — our family’s mountain retreat and full-time home for a time.
